Emily Schafer Selected NJCAA All-Star

Freshman Guard Emily Schafer from Devils Lake, North Dakota was selected to the NJCAA All Star Game. The NJCAA All-Star game will be played July 21-24, 2017 in Niceville, Florida. This past season Emily was All MonDak Conference & selected to the All-Region team. She averaged 10.6ppg 4.0rpg 2.4apg. Emily is the 3rd Lady Royals Basketball player selected to the NJCAA All-Star game following Kennedy Henningsgard & Cassidy Nelson. 

Head Coach Danny Mertens said, "I am excited for Emily to have this opportunity. It is a great experience for her. She is a great representative of the program and an excellent student-athlete. I am proud of all she accomplished this past season and this will serve as a great way to kick off her sophomore year."
