Great Week for Royals Volleyball

The Royals Volleyball team finished last week with a perfect 4-0 record, only dropping 1 set all week. Facing injuries and line up changes, the Royals stayed composed and confident and continued to improve to add more matches to the win column. The week started with a match at home against Dawson Community College out of Glendive, MT on Tuesday, September 27^th. In the previous match against Dawson, the Royals lost 1-3, but they flipped the score and won took this meeting 3-1. At one point in the fourth set, the Royals were down 13-2, but they fought back, ultimately winning the set and the match by a score of 27-25.

The next match was in front of an excited and large crowd as the Royals hosted Miles Community College from Miles City, MT on Wednesday, September 28^th. The team invited area high school programs to attend the match, and they delivered. It was a fun atmosphere, and the Royals took the match 3-0.

The week wrapped up with a trip to Inver Grove Heights, MN with a triangular hosted by Dakota County Technical College, a team that the Royals could face in Region play. The Royals opened the night with a match against Minnesota North Community College – Vermilion, and they won in 3 straight sets. The second match was against the host, DCTC, and the Royals took that match in three as well.
